Where are you from?
I currently live in Swanley, Kent. I have also lived in Harrow and Bromley. For the first 3 years of my life I lived in St. John's Wood, just a stone's throw from Lords Cricket Ground and Abbey Road. My Dad used to drink in the Abbey Tavern and was completely oblivious to the musicians who used to go in there!

How long have you liked Marillion?
Since hearing the late, great Tommy Vance play Three Boats Down from the Candy on the Friday Rock Show. That's longer ago than I care to remember.

Favourite Marillion Album?
Marbles. That album is inextricably linked to a certain period of time in my life for many emotional reasons and that alone means it will probably always be my favourite. Afraid Of Sunlight, Brave and F E A R give it a good run for it's money though.

How long have you been in the web team?
Since 2013 when The Web UK were looking for new graphic designers to work on the magazine. Oh God, that's seven years. I think it's about time I resigned - for sanity's sake, obviously

What do you enjoy most about being part of the team?
I love getting to lay the Web UK Magazine out, making sure it looks as professional as it can do. I get to look at and use a lot of wonderful photos and it's always great deciding how to put them in the articles and be creative with the layouts.

Best Marillion moment?
I was honoured to be asked to design the logo for the 2017 Marillion Weekends. In a frenzy of creative outpouring I designed seven different ideas and the band liked six of them, which left me well chuffed. I'm not really sure how we ended up with the one that was chosen… the band probably went "Eeny, meeny, miny, mow". It was during this process that I discovered I can't spell the word 'Poland' properly!

The band must have thought I did ok as I was asked to design the logos for the 2019 Weekends too. Again, the band liked so much of what I designed that some of the unused ideas were adapted by Mark Kennedy for the Weekend merchandise.
