As you know every convention has a charity chosen by the band and this year it's an Aylesbury based charity called Pace.
Pace is a groundbreaking children’s charity that transforms the lives of children and young people with motor disorders, such as cerebral palsy. Fundamental to their approach is a belief in every child’s ability to learn and make progress, whatever the physical or sensory challenges they face. Their overriding goal is to help children and young people with physical disabilities to achieve their full potential and to be as independent as possible in their current and future lives. My challenge is the cycle from Market Square in Aylesbury to Port Zélande for this charity but to do it in 24 hours. I have been training for this event for a month or so and although I have a good level of fitness I'm under no illusion this is going to be tough.
I have visited Pace this week and quite frankly I was blown away by this amazing place.
I was hoping you would like to help promote the event to raise both awareness and money for this worthy cause. To donate please click on the Just Giving logo below.
I have been a fan of Marillion for over 35 years, seen them almost 100 times and they just keep getting better, so please help me to help the band's chosen charity.
Thank you.
