Support on Saturday Night will be from Iamthemorning, an independent chamber progressive band founded in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2010.The core and permanent line-up of the band consists of Gleb Kolyadin (Piano) and Marjana Semkina (Vocals). For most live performances and recordings the band uses (in various combinations) guitar, bass, drums, string quartet, and a number of rather unconventional instruments including harp.
The songwriting is rich with metaphorical layers and at the same time adopts nearly every significant musical achievement of a progressive rock genre, associated with the likes of early Porcupine Tree, Philip Glass and Kate Bush, musically and lyrically.
The new album Lighthouse is the follow up to the band’s 2014 album Belighted and features guests Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree) and Mariusz Duda (Riverside, Lunatic Soul).
Recorded across London, Moscow and St Petersburg, the album won the ALBUM OF THE YEAR award at the prestigious Prog Awards ceremony last September in London. In the 2016 Prog Magazine Reader's poll Marjana was voted Female Vocalist Of The Year and Woman Of The Year. Gleb was voted second in the Keyboardist category.
In 2017 the band (in a six-piece outfit) is planning to do shows throughout Europe.
